A significant upgrade from the Bose TV Soundbar, the Bose Smart Soundbar adds additional connectivity, two up-firing drivers for Dolby Atmos support, voice control, and more. The up-firing drivers add immersion to your Atmos-compatible content, or the soundbar can use Bose TrueSpace technology to analyze and upmix non-Atmos stereo and 5.1 surround sound. In addition to movies, you can stream music and videos via a Bluetooth device or use Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or Chromecast. Using Bose SimpleSync, you can take that audio and send it throughout your home to other optional Bose products. Regardless of how you listen or what you listen to, controlling it is made easy with voice support using either built-in Alexa or Bose Voice4Video.

Multi-Channel Immersion

The two up-firing drivers are part of a five-driver array that fires sound left, right, forward, and above, enveloping you in sound. Dolby Atmos content is supported for dedicated height effects, but even stereo and regular 5.1 surround can be enhanced. Bose's TrueSpace technology handles the non-Atmos signals, analyzing them and upmixing them for a multi-channel experience. Instruments, dialogue, and effects are separated and properly placed within the room.

Bose created their AI Dialogue mode, so you can stop riding the remote's volume button just so you can hear conversations and dramatic whispers. Voice and surround audio is automatically balanced for crisp and intelligible dialogue.

Enhanced Streaming

Compared to the Bose TV Soundbar's Bluetooth support, the Smart Soundbar adds Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Chromecast built-in to the mix. Use the Bose app to stream content over Wi-Fi or use a mobile device to enjoy music and videos via wireless streaming.

Voice Control

While a traditional remote control is included, it's hard to beat the convenience of telling your TV what to do between mouthfuls of popcorn. Bose Smart Soundbar can be controlled using voice commands via built-in Alexa support or Bose's own Voice4Video functionality. Through spoken commands, control the soundbar, TV, and your cable/satellite box. The soundbar also works with Google Assistant technology, letting you use your voice through an optional Google device.

Expand Your System

Use other Wi-Fi-enabled Bose products to build out your surround sound setup, create a multi-room whole-home audio solution, or enjoy a private listening experience with optional Bose headphones. Sync the soundbar to these compatible speakers or headphones using the Bose app. Without a mobile device, you can start a group using the Bluetooth buttons on each device. If you're adding to an existing group, just press the Action button. With a home full of speakers, you can play different songs in each room or the same tracks throughout your house.
