A bright wide-angle prime, the AF 24mm f/1.8 Lens from Brightin Star is a versatile lens well-suited for street photography, landscapes, indoor spaces, and more. The fast f/1.8 maximum aperture offers increased control over depth of field for working with shallow depth of field techniques and also suits working in difficult lighting conditions. An STM motor affords quiet, quick, and accurate autofocus performance. The optical design incorporates three low dispersion, two aspherical, and three high refractive index elements, which reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion. A multilayer coating is also applied to the glass to suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, a USB-C port is integrated into the lens design to permit firmware updates.
